Tade and his friends, gang members, assembled at T-Baba's room. They all stole away from their rooms and walked out into the cold night at 12am exactly. The operation was successful because it rain all evening so most students crashed in early after the tedious lecture day which made the securities relaxed. The whole area was dark and lightless, even the sky was dark as the moon and stars shy off from heaven's roof. It was a bonus to them. The factor that also added to the hostel's silence this time was that The Polytechnic Ibadan power department had switch off their generator an hour earlier.

The popular cry of "Alimi tán ìna oo" (Alimi bring the light), and "Porter é tán ìna (porter bring the light) wasn't made due to the cold weather. Alimi who was once the man that is in charge of switching the generator on for both the male and female hostels once there is an outage of power every night. Although, the man is dead, yet students wouldn't stop crying his name at the slightest infringement of the rule on the light.

Tade was in company of Sola, T baba, Esu-boy and Sege. The company he has enjoy since had joined their group. They taught him guts and how to speak out and at present he doesn't seem to  regret being a cultist, in fact, people don't know what cultism is about, they just have phobia for the word or anything related to it. In cultism, you have back-up, people who'd stick to and protect you and which makes you wan to dare anything.

The five of them are in HND2, which depicts that only few months is left for them to become a graduate of The Polytechnic, Ibadan. They walked silently towards the fence that faces the hostel standard field where the Christian shouting in the cold night in the voices they call speaking in tongues were found. Tade will never forget the saint community that always stop students on their way and asking "are you a christian? OK let pray in tongues" that was how Sege said "skiborobo skibo" back in his ND days.

"This yeye people don start their normal routine of disturbing students" T-baba mocked. "Na only one bullet go scatter them, dey go disappear forgetting their God don promise them say he be their shepherd" Tade said as T-baba tried and smother a laugh when Sege made a comical example of how their escaping will look like. "Abeg it don do, sey make we pass that fence wey dey between block C and D" Esu boy asked stopping the already in action sege. "I no wan fall inside this unity boys shit o" Sola said humorously.

Some minutes later they were inside the bush that lead to Apete. It was their pleasure to pass through the main gates of the hostel whenever going on such trip since they were well sure that the porters would fear them until when they realised the bush was faster. After trekking through the bush behind Unity, gisting and being tormented by The Polytechnic, Ibadan mosquitoes and other unknown flies they hit the dusty road of Apete which is now muddy. "You still sabi her house abi?" T-baba asked Sege who has been silent throughout their journey. "Yes na that bad road wey dey in front of Bidemi's house lead to her own" Sege replied with a drawling tone as he brushes his sideburnswith the back of his palms.

The five of them started walking towards the person's house. Apete was still bumping and lively as various boys and girls were enjoying themselves at the famous Colony bar at Apete. They turned left after walking away from Colony into a dark street and stopped in front of a fenced house with a black gate. "Sey the midnight guards no dey here, I no want any fight this early" T-baba said. "Abi you dey afraid" Sola mocked as he threw T-baba a friendly punch. "It be like say you don craze, we never finish mission you dey talk sey I dey scare, your papa!" T-baba said as he stretch his five fingers towards Sola. "Enough joor" Esu-boy ordered.

For some minutes they stood outside waiting for the right time to strike. They actually trailed a dude who was dragging a S.U.G. post with one of their cabals. Sege had walk through this area in the day and found out he was keeping his head low with one of his side chicks. They jumped into the compound and banged into the girl's house after exactly 30 minutes of waiting. "Silent!" T-baba said as he made a shhh sound while he pinned a gun to his own sealed
mouth. "We won't shout" the girl said as she began to tremble on the floor, flaunting her already half stripped boobs from the nighties she was putting on. "So na was you get the mind to call our own candidate misfit?" Esu-boy said with a frank look. "I was only trying to be political nih" The dude said. "Na that politics wan make your parent cry oo" Sola replied almost immediately. "I will withdraw, please just let me go" The dude pleaded. "I wish we can but we can't" Sola said. "Stop crying darling" T-baba said as he patted the lady on the head. "Yes Sir" The lady screamed trembling with fear. Few minutes later after much pleads and interrogations, the dude was shot dead and before they left, Tade watched in horror has T-baba raped the lady. Their slang was, everything is fair in love and war.

Some people just move with people anyhow without trying to save their own head, because she want to be a girlfriend to a future S.U.G. President she was in turn raped. Nonesense!
