BRENDA MARTHA vs IBRAHIM YUSUF

NOTE:
Ibrahim should learn more on how to play with words. His choice of words in his poem were to open. The piece for me isn't a poem per-se. Looks more like a spoken piece.

KOLAWOLE ENIFENI SAMAD vs AYOBAMI AYANFEMI

NOTE:
THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN A POET DOES HIS HOME WORK. Suffice to say that the rhetoric and the method of presentation has been consistent and repetitive in the verses of his poem. Samad's poem is wonderful!... Thumbs up to him for his content and structure.
Apart from few mistakes like:
What does the schooler *(means a different thing from student which he intended)* knows *(know)* of coups?
He claimed to *(have)* heard of a Ghadaffi
The aim-ful *(whatever that means)* arrow that blind *(ed)* his kin
A missile that shatter *(ed)* his family tree
To him is a lost *(loss)* of sense for lives.

HEVARDINAR INSPIRED vs MOHAMMED SHAMS-DEEN

NOTE:
Please kindly advice this young poet that ends all with *I'm African, I'm Black, I'm beautiful*. It mars all her effort.
Mohammed's poem centres around the progress of Ghanaian democracy and how Nkrumah's legacy were shattered by successive, nepotic governments. Commendable.
