ALONE AGAIN.

Lying in bed, eyes closed,
Sounds of the wall clock
Tick tock tick echoing in my head

Promises made to each otherother
With words of forever
Feeling now like I’ve been deceived

Lost count of hours spent in this position
Lonely and sad with a bitter heart

Where did it all go wrong?
Is she a lot better than me?

Always with a heavy heart
I try never to make known how I feel

Was always told to be patient
Guess I couldn’t till I could be 18
I’ve waited this long,
I’ve been broken into a million and ten pieces

Time is taking itself to heal my heart
Tick tack says the clock

I look at the door
Rxpecting you to walk right through
Will you ever come back for me?

Within all this pain, I still feel hope
Hope of being with you once more

I’ll hope to drift off
To sleep to a little world of mine
Where I am yours and you are mine

Sounds of the clock slowly fade away
It’s hard to accept that I’m alone again.
