SONG OF A BROKEN HEART
WRITTEN BY: OLANIYI OLOLADE
Her memory haunts me every night,
Like memories of a lost soul.
Her broken kisses and
Her feeble Huggies pierce my feeble heart like weakening arrow.
If you've been with a queen before,
And she tears down your heart
Into shred of torn garment,
You'll know how to define heartbroken.
For My heart is split, like shards of broken glasses.
The love, the care, that we share,
has traveled down to the river of dark memories.
It's regret, sadness and brokeness that i sing everyday.
If tomorrow comes, I'll learn how to keep love in my mouth,
And not in my heart any longer.
I'll learn how not to love,
And how to mix love and lust together in my face,
For love is a gold that will soon rust.
To hell with love!
