POSTING THE TELEPHONE NUMBER OF SE GOVERNORS PUBLICLY AND ASKING PEOPLE TO CALL THEM TO RISE AGAINST THE ARMY IS UNREASONABLE!

There are aspects of our attitudes and behaviours that no longer conform with the 21st century. Posting the telephone number of SE governors publicly and asking people to call them to rise against the army is one of such behaviour.

Governor Dave Umahi was quoted as saying that thousands of people called to shout and abuse them.

I am addicted to Nat Geo Wild, Animal Planet, etc and I can linken this behaviour to an episode in one of those channels featuring a troop of howler monkeys in the Serengeti or Maasai Mara. I agree we are in a zoo and i thought we should at least exhibit superior cognitive traits to that of our Serengeti cousins due to the fact that we have had more contacts with humans.

Humans would have set up an online petition or  a website,an email, anything where we can describe our pains,document our grievances, inhuman and degrading treatments for the world and posterity.

Maybe it is actually a cultural thing,a Nigerian thing it is to talk,shout,scream abuses rather than write. However, we must know that we can only succeed in this century when we write down our experiences. We cannot continue shouting and howling abuses.

Let us write down our grievances and our desires, then forward it to the governors, political representatives or the Ohanaeze and the world. It is the only way we can document this our struggle. If our children and grandchildren ask us how we fought, we would be able to point to where our actions are  documented.

If UN, EU, AU, ECOWAS, etc ask us for evidence of our treatment or protests, do we ask the governors to bring their phones or identify the hundreds of thousands that called to abuse them?
