LEAVING FOR GOOD

What if we're a thousand
Living for a thousand years?
What if we live together for life
In this place somewhere in Africa.

What if the sailor sails evermore
And the tides rises no-more?
What if death dies
And friendship lives forever?

What if time travels not
And sticks to us never to leave?
What if I write not today
With an heavy heart written in my face?

Lessons I learnt forever would it stick,
Stick to this head of mine,
And with an heart of honour and fulfilment,
Today I bid farewell.

Farewell tot his great gathering,. Gathering of brilliant faces,
Saddened though, but progress has to happen,
And today, I leave for good.
