AYOBAMI AYANFEMI

Title: The traditional tale

Tell tell the glad tidings
And let us keep rising
Into tale of father's tradition
And mother culture.

The befitted outfit unveiled mama' face during the 60's
When she was just eighteen,
During time of racist
While blood flows out of the iris.

Father sold his farm for the bride price to secure  virgin as his wife,
Mother learnt how he wasn't loose 
Into the women opened thigh.
They walked into the colourful hut
And melt souls into a god.

It was a tradition,our culture.
Mother lived outside fashion
Father cultivated dignity with action.
Rest pet of culture
And live out world fashion.

TITLE; *CULTURAL FASHIONS*

In your dresses I see hell
Lucifer smiles in destruction
Men bow at your feet
You have disproved your cultural fashion
And heaven is in haste
Now a year is dead
But the celebration continues
In your shoes, I see flaws
Heels and high heels
Steps upon steps
And you are of the short ones
Men bow at your feet
And will make you their projects
And at your own peril
Men derive pleasure.
