WE'RE SOULS WHO DIED TO LIVE AGAIN.

They said because we killed
We should therefore be killed -
They took the law into their hands.

And boom!
Like a flash did they attack
Shredding our souls into bits
And our whole, confined into boxes
Laid beneath the earth.

Like raindrops
Were unripe tears dropping from faces
Of brothers who knew us to be innocent
And sisters who bore our pains in their marrows.

Magazines were soaked with our blood
With tongues dipped into our drying sweats,
Fears
And unending sorrows.

Truly, our bodies and souls are dead,
But, fear not, for only our bodies were laid beneath the earth - truly dying,
And like flying kites did our souls become;
Flying into hearts to live again -
We're brethrens with a dead body
Accompanied by a soul who died but to live again
In hearts of patriotic citizens of our nation.

I am Emmanuel
