I REJECT!

Bound in chains of silver,
Dragged like rotten carcass,
Out in the sun - roasted,
Waiting for the rightful price.

Is it the color of the skin,
That puts value on an human!s head?
Or the blood beneath dark skins
Less red than any other skin color?

Like a royal rubber stamp,
Color has branded us permanently.
Labeling us the 'backward' race;
Greed for money and power,
Burns the human soul black
Making one see money
Over another human soul.

I repudiate these chains,
That enslaves my brother,
That degrades humanity,
A barbaric act in times of enlightenment.

I Reject them!
