MY ROLE IN IMPROVING THE SOCIETAL VALUE OF MY COUNTRY.

Being a citizen of a country there are some duties to be performed individually. A country that is backward, poor, or developing, solely depends on its citizen especially when the country is a democratic one. People should follow all the rules, regulations and laws made by the government.

To improve the societal value of my country, I must be an active citizen who will get involved in the local communities and democracy at all levels. Being an active citizen can be as small as a campaign to clean up ones street or as big as educating people about democratic values, skills and serving as a role model for the upcoming youth.

Moreover, as a popular adage says; ‘the journey of a thousand miles begin with a step’, each and every activity we engage in affects us in positive and negative ways. If we engage in the positive acts, it brings glory to us, and if otherwise, we become a victims. So, it is my role to take pledge today to take each and every step positively in the right direction.

The bright future of our country is in our own hands. Still there is time and a chance for us, we can do better. Start living with open eyes and perform true duties towards the country like a filial son will do to his mother.
