• ADELEYE OLUWADARSIMI vs OLAWUYI ISHOLA

NOTE

Both poets did a nice job, except for the little grammatical errors present in their pieces. Although a little too evident in Olawuyi's poem.

It was quite difficult to choose between the two writings because they seem good at a level.
The words of Adeleye is quite impressive but I expected more from the tone of the poem.

• BRENDA MARTHA vs OLANIYI OLOLADE

NOTE;

Brenda's mood seem quite calm. I earlier expected to read a painful and angry kind of poem due to the title of the poem but the writer's choice of words are rather too simple for the theme and also not deeply expressed.

• ADEPOJU BABAJIDE vs KOLAWOLE ENIFENI SAMAD

NOTE;

Adepoju never really brought out a catchy words from the poem. The poem looks a bit complicated than it actually is. Although I love his words and style, but he can always do better.

I will regard Kolawole's poem as a reservoir where grammatical errors are kept. The beauty of his poem was rendered useless with these errors, he should look out for that next time he's writing.

• AYOBAMI AYANFEMI vs ONI TOMIWA

NOTE

Ayobami did not really deal with the topic as much. Although, I love his figure of speech especially his rhetorical questions, but he could actually do better next time.
Also, his connection with the reader is poor, try improving on that as well.

• HEVARDINAR INSPIRED vs OJO ADEWALE IYANDA

NOTE

Adewale is just close to perfection. Short and precise! I love that (brevity).
Hevardinar use of words is cool too, but I expected more from her choice of simple words. Her middle lines also were somewhat light hear. Good job though.
