"OVER BREEDING OF CHILDREN AND ACTS OF POLYGAMY SHOULD BE STOPPED IN NIGERIA!"

According to Tell magazine,the 64 year old Director General of SSS has 64 children.4 of those children are also working as SSS agents.

64 children!The magazine didn't say how many wives or concubines!

Centuries ago when our ancestors needed farm hands,when they were not sure how many of the children would get past the high  infant mortality rate or how many would survive the brutal slave raids ,it would be something to celebrate having several children.In my own culture;my great grandparents would have killed a cow to celebrate when a woman have 10 children.

This however is 2017 and there are drone equipment in farms,drones spraying pesticides and food being grown in labs yet a man heading the foremost national security agency is himself constituting a national security threat.

No threat is bigger than the threat of population explosion in Nigeria without commensurate economic growth .It is the number one national security threat.In less than 50 years,95% of people from my area have become monogamous and more than 99% have an average of 5 children.Yes,we are that progressive!

When we clamour for the restructuring of Nigeria,we are not looking at the oil in Niger Delta.We dont want to push your mouth out of the feeding bottle.We are rather seeing the crisis of the future which we are creating by ourselves.We naturally want to avoid this crisis and not leave it to Allah to sort out.

Please help us devolve powers to the states/regions.We want to shape our future in line with our  culture and way of live.We want to write our own state/regional constitution and create our own state/regional economy.We want to  isolate ourselves from the looming catastrophe!

We want to abolish polygamy and uncontrolled breeding of children.We want to secure our own future now.We want a political restructuring of Nigeria and we are desperate about it.
