DISOBEDIENT LOVER.

When I was a kid
Unaware of Love's pang,
Falling in love was the perfect thing to do;
The perfect thing I did.

I forgot mom said before she ate her breath;
Never love a lady
For she'll throw your heart to the wolves.
But still, can't I love a man,
As a burnt man would I become -
Lying breathless on life's street...
I fell in love despite mom's warnings.

Alas! She didn't just send my heart to the wolves
But also traded me for money.
She made me wet mom's grave
With dry tears,
Beckoning her to rise from her spot
Only for me to replace her - I wanted to die.

Thus, when you see her,
Please tell her she didn't kill me
But love did through her - I died loving.

I am Emmanuel
